Well, we should quantify here: it helps if you have access to some power tools. When we got to the location of our photo shoot with Elizabeth Messina a couple weeks back, we realized we didn't have any place card holders. So, Margie, being the problem solver that she is, went out to the yard, found a branch, set up the chop saw, and got to work! First, she cut the branch into about 1" pieces. We needed about twelve for our shoot, so twelve pieces. Then she placed each piece into the vise grip and took a saw and cut little slits to hold the cards. The result just speaks for itself. I just love these. I think if you're slightly handy, have access to a few tools, this would be great at a fall/winter themed wedding or thanksgiving table.
