Last week, we posted about how we make our booklet style wedding programs. This week, we're working on the assembly and mailing of new custom wedding invitations for an upcoming Illuminating Company wedding designed by Big City Bride. These are layered to Lustre paper, then to Seashell pockets. We do this by spraying the back with adhesive, and carefully applying the layers together. If the paper isn't cut perfectly, it's impossible to get them centered!
Then we use a double, and then triple-check system, to make sure that everything gets stamped and in the pockets. In this case, we're handling the mailing of the invites, so we weigh and purchase the postage for the clients.
We use glue to affix the envelopes. Sometimes, the seal on the envelopes is just not enough.
Finally, delivery to the local post office!
