So much thought and care went into Rachel and Paul's custom Chicago wedding with Beth Bernstein Events in Chicago. All of the planning was done through the pandemic, where we would huddle outside in Rachel's beautiful Northshore backyard as we flipped through paper and ribbon samples and discussed what was most important to communicate to their guests. What turned out was a gorgeously custom event with color, thoughtful details, and a lot of handmade details.
We painted a botanical scene, printed it on tissue, hand painted gold details and wrapped it around the invitations. Of course, each one was personalized in gold by Nicole Black.
All of the paper was hand made, the text was custom drawn by Bernard Maisnor, we used gold foil printing, custom stamps, diecut butterfly place cards, hand dyed ribbon in a custom color just for Rachel, and then personalized for each guest by a second calligrapher, Nicole Black.
