this custom invitation set for allison and david was a perfect mix of preppy and classic. dots, stripes and peonies combined to create this letterpress fuschia and chocolate paper suite. Hints of green were added in with their response envelope and calligraphy. the cards tucked behind the band for an organized envelope. complete with monogrammed thank you notes and of course, a custom peony stamp....

Elizabeth,
Having a great camera has helped me take nice closeup and encouraged me to actually use the camera- I bought the Nikon D40x and I love it!
Thanks for your comment,

Thank you! I might have to start saving! :) Is it pretty easy to learn and use? Did you get additional lenses, gear, etc? Thanks!

The camera is pretty expensive, but worth it. It’s also really easy to use, especially in natural light (I hate the result when the flash goes off, so I try to use the camera only when the light is nice) I haven’t looked into buying new lenses, but borowed a friends portrait lense and really liked the results. But, all of the photos you see here are with the camera’s original lense. Oh, and i found a tripod helps when setting up the product shots. Usually, it’s a lot of practice and lots of deleted photos to get to a few nice ones!
Good Luck!
How did you take such wonderful pictures of these! All the detail shows beautifly! I love the entire suite!
