last night i saw the opening night of hubbard street dance's spring performance. the premiere of extremely close by Alejandro Cerrudo was worth mentioning today. After a beautiful classical piece by Jim Vincent, we walked back in from intermission and white feathers were falling on the stage. once the stage was covered, three white movable walls provided the background for the dancers, who were dressed in black. They danced among the feathers and the walls went with them. It was amazing in it's beauty and simplicity. Don't know what to do with this drawing, a card, maybe? but it was definitely inspired by last night's performance. bravo, hubbard street! Update: This was turned into an invitation.
