2009 marks the one year anniversary of the blog and the four year anniversary of our company (in May) so I thought it would be fitting to show you the inspiration for SD's first invitation, casa covarrubius and the wedding that started the seed of this business: my wedding held in Santa Barbara in 2000. We were married at a historical mission style church, the presidio and had the reception at the adobe, casa covarrubius, one block away on santa barbara street. There's so much I want to share with you, how so much of the wedding was handmade by myself and my bridesmaids, how we kept things simple in decor and good food, (having a beautiful site helps), and all the details and the vendors that made it all possible!
