We are pretty pleased with the new silver ink our printer has tried out with us. Typically, letterpress printing metallic inks on uncoated paper leaves a subtle, matte finish. Shiny is just not achieved. But, I actually prefer the understated elegance of letterpress metallics. If you're going for a true gold or silver, engraving will produce a shinier result. But, I digress. The new metallic gold and silver just glimmer a bit more. It's a subtle difference, but I really love how these turned out.
