As a designer, I create invitations from a very real place. That's why I started this blog, to show you the inspiration behind each design, to share where the seed originates, and express my truest self. The process of creating an invitation takes on many forms, and is contributed by the bride and groom's style, my design sensibility, and usually the event itself. Water is one of those invitations: starting out part of our stationery line, it had a little flower, and when our custom invitation clients asked us for a clean, taupe and blue beach inspired invitation, we knew that water had some sweet start to it that would contribute to it. In the end, it wasn't the final invite, but we loved it so much we added it to our line. Inspiration- ripples in the sand, how the water meets the sky...
