Recently, we have been working on making some changes to the Sarah Drake Design website, along with reevaluating our brand identity to find the appropriate words to describe all that we do and offer. A theme that keeps coming up throughout the designs and products is authenticity. Each product we create is true to the relationship between me and the client, while staying true to my design sensibilities. Authenticity refers to truthfulness of origins, attributions, commitments, sincerity, and devotion; similar to the description of marriage. In the wedding business especially, company identity is built upon the foundation of their uniqueness. The search for inspiration is close to home; and is based on real stories, memories, and people whom I meet and work with daily.
