This weekend, I'm taking two days in the country in Michigan to unplug from the computer, and plan the next phase of the business. It's exciting to give myself permission to do this, because as a mom, I, of course, feel guilty taking any time for myself, but when I flooded our bathroom last night because my mind was racing in a million different directions, I knew it was time. No internet, tv, antique shops. And really bad cell service. This town has the beach, and literally four businesses: a pizza place, deli, bar and post office. I'm bringing my camera, sketchbook, and wine. Can't wait to have a place to unwind.
